Dr. Langdon has been a certified SLP for almost 50 years. She is Professor Emerita from San José State University, in San Jose, California. Her interest and passion have been issues related to assessment and intervention for monolingual and bilingual students. She has published books and peer-reviewed articles on this topic, in addition to presenting at the local, national, and international level. Interpreting and translation as it applies to speech and language pathology has also been her area of interest as well.
Currently, she is owner and partner with her daughter, an MFT (Marriage and Family Therapy) and Doctor in Depth Psychology of Sunflower Therapies. Henriette has the CSHA (California Speech, Language, and Hearing Association and ASHA (American Speech, Language, and Hearing) Association Honors as well as the CSHA and ASHA Diversity Awards. Dr. Langdon provides speech and language services in 4 languages (Spanish and Polish, her first languages, French and English).

“As an OT for over 36 years, I have used many physical and digital products. Some of them are enjoyed by my patients and some of them are not. Learnigo is one everyone enjoys. There are many different levels of activities and a variety of areas to work on, including visual motor and handwriting, sequencing and memory. The programs can be used with a mouse or touchscreen so children of all levels can access them. There is auditory and visual feedback if the user is correct or incorrect. Helene Lieberman MS, OTR/L received her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Boston University, Sargent College of Allied Health and a Master’s Degree in Family Support Studies at Nova Southeastern University. She is NDT Trained in Pediatrics, trained to implement Interactive Metronome and IM Home systems, ILS and SIPT Certified. For the past 36 years she has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, outpatient clinics, Intermediate Care Facilities and home health. In 2015, she co- authored a chapter on activity analysis which is crucial to determining the reasons a child is or is not successful in functional performance. She has participated in researching the effect of sensory integration treatment in a preschool and research in the use of BlackBack Writing in a Pre-K class. Helene is the creator of BlackBack Writing to teach shapes, letters and numbers and Write Bright cards and paper to teach the proper alignment of letters.
